A club membership is your way of showing your
commitment to the dance clubs,
our ideals, and what we do.

Thank you for supporting 50 Nights of Fun Lessons
& specific Annual Parties, Theme Dances, Culture Nights, Bands.

Annual Membership (37 Mondays/13 Saturdays)
​UCLA Students: $100 (equals 50 cents donation an hour!)
UCLA Staff, Faculty, Alumni: $125

By becoming an Annual Member ($100 per year/Student Rate)
you are donating $2 per week in advance towards the 50 nights of
room rentals/programming expenses
so club leaders can provide you (and your friends/family)
with affordable weekly dance lessons/dance parties.

Why do you have a club membership?

#1 to pay ASUCLA for Room Rentals, so we can hold events in a nice size room that has a good floor for dance lessons.

#2 to pay ASUCLA for Catering at club's large scale Swing/Salsa Parties
(nice to have water/snacks when you are dancing for 3-4 hours)

#3 to pay for professional bands: Swing/Salsa/1920s Jazz Bands
(It is exciting to dance to LIVE MUSIC)

#4 to advertise club activities club purchases banners, signboards,
Daily Bruin Newspaper Ads, and flyers/posters/schedules with club events

#5 Instructors/Guest Performers 50 Nights per year

#6 Sound Equipment (microphones/speakers...)
#7 Membership Cards, Mailbox/Voicemails/Decorations
#8 Officer Meetings/Copies of Club Agendas/Documents

In order to provide the large number of events each year
featuring professional bands & teachers, the club must raise $$.
​
Your membership will help greatly with our goal of serving the UCLA community. From our weekly lessons, cultural nights, to our large-scale dance parties, we provide a fun and social environment for everyone of any skill level.
Your membership helps support the club and continue the many fun events we hold! Priorities include paying for room rental & catering fees, printing & advertising costs.

Students learn Swing-Salsa-Tango & so much more, while saving thousands of dollars.
​
(Local dance studios are charging $12-$15 per hour for dance lessons, and $15-$30 for Parties)

No, it is greatly appreciated if you would consider donating or
becoming a member of the club. Please be respectful of Room Occupancy Limits and that members have supported the room rental fees.
